KOAA News5 recently joined Friends of Ute Valley Park during one of our volunteer work nights to highlight our transition to an independent nonprofit organization.

Reporter Bill Folsom spoke with volunteers about the work happening throughout Ute Valley Park and why creating a permanent nonprofit organization is an important step toward ensuring long-term stewardship of the park.
